Why?
Local grassroots organizations on the Mediterranean coast have been left with all of the responsibility and none of the means to meet the basic needs of refugees. This is why Laugh 4 Change supports the work done by individuals and small non-profits providing the day-to-day care for these refugee communities. Meet our partners here.

vision

Laugh 4 Change believes that in order to fully help refugees, we must support both their physical and mental beings. As a result, the money raised at these shows meets the provisional needs of refugees in Greek camps, including, but not limited to clothing, hygiene products, food, and education. Additionally, as the psychological pains of the migration process can be difficult to process for refugees, Laugh 4 Change provides money to hire mental health specialists focusing on PTSD and trauma treatment at the camps. In spite of the grave reality of the refugee crisis, we hope that our shows help our audiences navigate difficult conversations with laughter and joy, while also providing a platform for underrepresented and up-and-coming comedians to showcase their talents.
OUR APPROACH

1. comedy shows
Our shows are the bread and butter of Laugh 4 Change — we host 8-10 shows a year in locations all across the U.K.

2. FUNDRAISING & DONATIONS
The funds that Laugh 4 Change raise are a combination of online & in-person donations and money collected from our shows

3. charitable distribution
The final step in our process is the transfer of funds to grassroots charities in Chios, Lesvos, and Athens to purchase necessary supplies
